This G550 has been upgraded with an adjustable heavy-duty suspension consisting of G63 AMG shocks, very expensive OEM manufactured adjustable coilovers, BFGoodrich KO3 severe-snow-rated all-terrain tires along with OEM AMG Multi Spoke Alloys. About $15,000 worth of upgrades. The modifications provide increased ground clearance, improved winter traction, better pothole resistance, and superior capability on rough roads compared with the stock setup. For commuting between Oakville, and say Brantford (snow belt) year-round, the KO3 tires are fully winter-capable and carry the severe-snow designation, making them an excellent all-season solution while retaining outstanding durability and off-road performance. If you buy a "normal" G550/63, you must spend $10k on snows/rims to drive it during the winter. With this setup-up, you are good to go year-round.
